Our recent GE is pretty darn good in theory. Very quiet. I did lose a rack roller or two already. Had it 2 years now?

I've owned several dishwashers. All GE. Never a problem that was self-inflicted. Mostly used them for storage since I hand-wash almost everything. Living alone, it would take me forever to fill a dishwasher. And I'd have to own enough place settings. I'm not even putting one in the house I'm now building.
New one to be installed tomorrow morning. We've had good luck with Whirlpool over 40+ years. It's a local store, too. We've bought all of the major appliances there (waiting on the oven to die - lol) and flooring for the whole house.
My sister has been through LG and Samsung appliances with poor luck on both.
Probably best to stick with a company that does appliances only instead of that plus cell phones and TVs.

Neighbor's lawn service just started mowing with the low flying airplane. It still sounds like it won't make it back to the airport. 
Speaking of which, they bought another house and have mostly moved but haven't seen a for sale sign yet. Estimated prices for homes like this (and ours) are in the mid-300s now. That's nuts.

Never had a dishwasher. I’d rather burn off my own calories.
Just found out the other day that Mrs. Tango's uncle served on the Laffey circa 1960 or so.
