Played this in a once a year big band some years ago. The band leader/lead trumpet nailed this tune. I never cared for the tune until I heard this version. It evokes an emotional response.

Loved my Hasselblad 2 1/4 x 2 1/4. Good ol' 120 film.

I still have this one along with a couple of film backs (a 12 and an A12, and the finder).

Well, my "equipment" doesn't come close to yours. Mine was a Sony DCS-S500 point and shoot on automatic setting then converted to B&W on the computer. So now I have to say "Move over Ansel Adams and Jeff Scott". I may have posted that pic about 25,000 posts ago. My memory is not what is used to be and neither is my memory.

Love the contrast and depth of field on yours.

The little video is a hoot! That alien probably has a depth of field problem. We always made it a point NOT to dance under the mirror ball.

Many people forget that Maynard had great legit chops. When he was 12 years old, he used to sit in with the Canadian National Symphony as a principal trumpet. In Danny Boy he gets to show off both his legit and jazz chops.

Love reading the audiophool stuff. It's a hoot and a half! I've been looking for super conductor speaker cables but I'm concerned about how much space the cryogenic plant would need.

Get you a good set of jumper cables, cut off the alligator clamps and put on whatever connectors you need, and hey presto! Lossless speaker cable!

When I played at the hotel on Miami Beach in the 80's, we had to back shows-usually singers, sometimes comics. Almost every girl singer had "I Will..." as part of their act. No 2 charts were the same-different keys, slightly different form. BTW, we didn't get a rehearsal; 15 minute 'talkover' to do a 45 minute show. Challenging, but in a good way. Since then I've played it from 'memory' a coupla dozen times on open mic nights. Still fun to play.
