I see how it's done now.
Without having to type out the brackets etc., you can just highlight what you want to hide, then click the little "+" button in the upper edge of the reply box. Select "Spoiler" from the menu, and it'll ask what you want to title it.

ETA: Pic of said menu, for any "visual learners" who might prefer that option.*

The falcons have stopped showing up where I feed the birds every day. As a result, the crows are back. I guess that the falcons have had their fun chasing the crows.

The crows are smart, they've started waiting for me to arrive at the edge of the park. Then they fly in front of me, without any vocalization so the falcons don't come, as I walk into the woods for about ten minutes to get to where I feed the other birds. They don't seem to eat the sunflower seeds that I put down for the small birds. They really like the small pieces of corn on the cob that I leave. They even take the cobs away.

[ mumble, ... stumble, ... grumble, ... ]

mmmph, ... ... gotta get up early ... take the grandkid to school ... ... [ yawn ] hxsrtx sinxsw .. thank goodness, he'll have his unrestricted driver's license soon. ... ... his dad's repairin' an' ol' Jeep Liberty to be his car by then ... ... damn kids today, get ever' thang handed to 'em. ... ... I hadda share my parents vehicles 'til midway thru college! ... ... I load some stuff into the back o' my truck 'fore leavin' the house ... ...

goin' thru McDonald's drive-thru for gkid's breakfast, I point out the "Now Hiring" sign to him and he asks about "take-home pay" versus $/hr, and then (even) other economics topics! I'm thrilled he seems interested! FICA, SS, etc. Then (possible) career benefits(!), like insurance, 401k, ... I dunno if pensions are still 'a thing' anymore these days, ... even his (hopefully) eventual retirement (like me!) ... The more we talk, the more worked up I get!! :bassist::mad::smug:

Before long, I'm apologizing for monopolizing the conversation. Well, he was eating, anyway. We made good time, so I took him with me to drop off the stuff I'd loaded earlier. At the Open Door Ministry I explain that Mrs. Dog had done some spring cleaning in her pantry and our closets recently. Gkid helped me, and them, unload groceries, clothes, shoes, blankets, sheets, etc. They thanked us profusely and we thanked them for the work they do. Gkid gets a big smile?

Just before I drop him at school he says, "Thanks, pawpaw. We did a good deed today, already." Yeah, I guesso, kiddo. Sure.

Then I hadda drive back home with a tear in one eye. ... Damn sinuses! ... ... [ grumble, ... mumble, ... ...

Speed limits, stop signs, and red lights in life are just a suggestion.
An oldie, but goodie...

Took a taxi out of the Brussels airport. The driver blasted through a red light, and then another. On approach to a green light, he slammed on the brakes. I asked him what the hey-ho, and he said "You think I'm stupid? My brother, he drives a taxi, too!" :roflmao:
