I've been off TB for awhile. Seeing lots of interesting threads. Just posted Tweeters Off, none for me Thanks and got invited by Mr. Badexample to this thread. I think I need a number!
I started playing guitar in '65. A few months of lessons and when the band got together, I was the least experienced and was elected to play bass. All downhill after that.
Played in several really good bands, even co-founded a horn band that played around L.A. For a couple of years.
I took many years off for family, job and such. Still, I jammed, played parties, did sound off and on. I got in touch a several years ago with the original guitar player of that first band and I joined his studio jam band for lots of fun and memories.
Not playing out right now. Too many life things happening, specially the three grandkids.
So, shoot me a number so I can join in the fun! I look forward to chatting it up with all the other GOFs on TB!

Welcome aboard you GOF sir! @B-string should be along and issue a number for you. I normally wouldn't join any club that would have the likes of me as a member, for for GOF and Way Huge, I make an exception.
I should probably get my eyes zapped some day. No cats in there. Tried a laser point, but kept getting headaches. I might have Guitos from the back alley hold me down and do it. Speaking of self surgery, check out the Icy Hot home OTC TENS unit for zapping your back aches away. Supposed to check with your doc if you have any kind of medical problems, but then if you didn't, why would you get one. Says not to put it on your head too, pfft. Home electroshock therapy!

But thanks to my shop practices, I only have 10 left, considered a severe disability here. Can't multiply by 12 now
12 x 12 = uhhhh, must be in the thousands I guess. That's what we do. If you start feeling down about pain, just remember if it does hurt or turn gray, it falls off
