Okay. I may have put too much emphasis on the stewed prunes part in trying to work this out.

If I type Geddy it often changes it to Teddy. I typed mod, it decided I meant kid.

Kind like entering "cool" on a phone and you get "book". Wow, that bass is really book! Surprised that hasn't made it into the lexicon.

Weather has definitely changed this past week or so. Highs down to 90 or thereabouts, humility is lower, lows in the 60s. We've had a few pretty nice days this week especially the mornings. Noticed the grass is starting to go dormant today - seeing a little discoloration. Crepe myrtles blooming has slowed down.

Cleaned up the Honda yesterday, did the scooter today. Probably clean up the Gofastersumbich tomorrow AFTER taking a ride on the scooter. 60s-70s will feel great! Top will be down a lot with the cooler weather!

Pop is doing great! Sides effects are pretty much gone. Only one small sore place in his mouth now. Taste (and appetite) has mostly come back. He mowed his yard yesterday. It's almost like it never happened. We (and he) are so relieved with the good results!

When Shakespeare writes about characters who long for stewed prunes, that's not precisely what he's suggesting. Once believed to prevent the pox, stewed prunes were served for patrons at the seamstress' guild

As far as I know, my father never knew a pin about King Lear, except maybe the title. Then we watched Ran together once at Christmastime. He was mightily impressed. edit. guess which daughter I am

Poetry can seem opaque, too, so you make a pop tune. If you put a novel into music, then you have opera.

Scares me to see how many of those plays I absorbed. There's a Car 54 Where Are You? where Toody and Muldoon are on duty for The Taming of the Shrew in Central Park. Toody decides he knows how to talk with his wife now.
