I take liquid Solgar B12 with B Complex every day. It covers all the basses.

About $10 local and on line. Lasts for 3-4 months for me.
I like liquid so no gel caps and pill binders.

Hey - I've been meaning to ask some advice of any Grumpys who have tried Mike Arnopol's cabs.
My backs only gonna get worse so I want to get lighter cabs - also the Tinnitus is making it hard to distinguish half tones down low on the B - and I'd like to move to fretless.
I was wondering if the MVW tech would help me hear the bottom better.
Currently got Eden 212xlt/210xst/WT550.
Any opinions/experience here on that?

I'm on my 3rd MAS speaker. In my case it's total overkill because I haven't gigged in a while, but I like 'em. I started with a MAS109, then a 112 and now use a 2nd generation 46. They certainly have good clarity in the low end and depending on what you're using now, they might be an improvement. They also have really good dispersion and size to output ratio. Some of the larger ones aren't necessarily easier to move, but smaller ones are. My 4x6 would probably compete with the average 4x10 and is much lighter and smaller.
It's not easy to find a demo unit even around this area, so that would be a problem for you. Mike is really helpful with advice and recommendations. The best way to reach him is usually by phone, so that could be expensive for you, but probably worth it to get the best guidance. HTH

Seems to me an HPF and better mids should do the job for now.

All fingers and toes are still in place although I am still not 100% recovered from 3 broken bones in my left hand suffered in a motorcycle accident about a year ago. Nothing too serious and I have been back playing in my band for some time. Playing my 12 string acoustic is still a bit uncomfortable but at least do able. Messed up my right knee at work a few weeks ago and was out on workmans comp for two weeks with that , but back to work now. Still a little tender but improving nicely. Been following the thread regularly but to be honest , I just haven't really had anything to grump about that seemed worthwhile. Per some posts a few pages back five teeth missing so far. I can get both top and bottom done for what one implant would cost. lol. Waiting on about two more , then going for partials on both the top and bottom. 65 and still counting , carry on.

Want to keep it small, manageable and versatile, 15s aren't as appealing as 12s and smaller.
Not sure how much gigging is in my future but I lean towards a mix of
Blues, Rock, C/Rock in general - loud enough to be solid without going over the top.
Was thinking of building some Greenboy 12.6.1's 'til I started checking out MVW - Read the lot
on GB/MVW and like the idea of an Mas Bodai 2/8+1/8 or a 4/6 + 10" Sub. Keep the WT550 for
now (gotta do this in stages) with maybe a move to something like a Prolite 2 DSP(HPF+ the rest)
and a Mesa DI or similar. B2/8 - 1/8 are front runners at the mo' but I'm still ruminating.

I've been really interested in the RevSound cabs too. I'd like to have a small(er) cabinet for playing at home because I don't drive the MAS hard enough to really benefit from it's strong points with the touted vortex effect that is the BigE claim to fame. The RevSound 1x12 or 2x8 cab would be right up my alley, but would have to wait until my dental issues are fixed and paid for.

Glad to hear that your hand is ok if not 100% yet. I'm sitting here sucking my lower lip through the gap where my 2 center lower teeth were until January, so I hear ya about the dental stuff. Next week the dentist is gonna start the final prep for a 6 tooth permanent bridge. In my case implants weren't even an option, but I couldn't have afforded them anyway. I told the dentist that if I had implants, I would have insisted that the fake teeth be removable, so I could rearrange them in interesting ways and have extras that are decorated for special occasions. He didn't sound inclined to go along with that though.

First let me say I've never had the opportunity play on an MAS cab, which is admittedly my loss from all I've read. So what follows is not a comparison to his highly acclaimed product offerings, just something that struck me when I read your post.
In terms of hearing myself and the rest of the band (especially drummer) hearing me, the best cab I ever used was one of Duke's Changeling 112T's he sent me to test out and provide him feedback. I sort of thought that whole "open chamber" and "rear firing open chamber" mid driver thing was going to be more gimmick than results - I was 100% wrong!!
My primary band consists of 4 folks. 3 of us are engineers and the other gent is a corporate executive at Music and Arts. We are all very critical listeners when it comes to our music and our equipment. Each and every one of us were shocked at how much better we heard the bass on stage, even at lower volumes.
I'm the last guy on earth who needs another cab, but I ordered one from Duke when I sent the one I was testing back. I'm not going to say this cab will do everything for everyone, but it's quite impressive if hearing yourself better/more clearly is important and/or if you want one cab that can be re-voiced in seconds to go from a vintage sealed vibe to a more modern ported tone and cover a lot of territory in-between.
The only caveat is that I found the efficiency/sensitivity a little on the low side and feel the cab performed better when fed by a head capable of 300 - 400 Watts (at 8 Ohms). The two heads I used during my testing were the Mesa D-800 and GK MB800, both handled the job beautifully.
I know this addresses the upper range but it still might help you intonate

What are common brands available in Australia? I just noticed where you're from and that brought to mind availability. You've gotten som great suggestions already, and I think you could get an Audiokinesis or Revsound shipped internationally. As Al said, when I used the AK Hathors, I felt they really wanted a lot of power to really crank out a sweet sound. I've never had an opportunity to try a RevSound but there are a lot of TB'ers who swear by them.
Also, take a look through the TB Classifieds-- a lot of guys flip cabs as often as pancakes (groan) and sometimes let them go pretty cheap.
A side note of no value-- my dad was in the Pacific Theater during WWII and fought alongside some Australian soldiers and went to Sydney for R and R. He said not only were they fierce fighters but when they all went to Sydney, boy did he have some good times! He used to talk about Australian Steak and Eggs for breakfast and how he loved the food...
I loved eggs sunny side up until my bypass surgery. Now the sight of a runny yolk makes me feel nauseous. Dorothy makes mine like an omelette for me these days.

I use an Eden 112EX and either a Rumble 500 head or an Ampeg Classic pre stomp box into a Staight Ahead power amp. The latter fits into my bass gig bag.
I don’t get to low B, but bottom string gets to D and never flabbed out...I’ve flabbed out, but the cab-no.

Those Eden EX series cabs are pretty spectacular IMO given their size and price point. Admittedly I only need low E capability, but the EX110 or 112 delivers just fine.
In my case I only use the EX110 for my acoustic/coffee house style stuff (I have other options for bigger gigs), but I've heard the EX112 and my guess is that two of them would handle rock/country with a drummer even without PA support. If you have PA support, just one of those little cabs makes a great monitor on tight stages.

I'm in agreement with @Al Kraft and @Ken Morgan on the Eden stuff. Pretty incredible performance for the size and price. When I bought my pair of Eden EX110's I was constantly trying to sell them the first year. But gig after gig they proved themselves. I had wanted a pair of Schroeder Mini 12+L's but at this point I've gotten my sound pretty fine tuned and love the bottom end and tone that my little pair of EX110's put out.
