Yup. Home port of Athens, Greece when I first reported aboard. Then back to the states for a shipyard period (Philly) then home ported Mayport, Florida. Good ship. After decom she was a museum ship in DC. Watch NCIS and most of the exterior ship shots are the Barry. Wish I'd stayed in. They would have paid me a good bonus and given me my choice of assignments. I would have gone aviation sonar tech. Alas, thanks to a mental case of an ex-wife, I got out at my eaos. Here's a pic of the boys: my dad, me, and my son. All around the same age. No family resemblance here...

We're only that way other GOF's and our wives (cuz they'd make us suffer if we weren't). Youngster and outsiders all get abused mercilessly. BTW, who are you and what's your age? :eyebrow: :D

Well... it looks like he's old enough. Oh hey, he plays bass! He's old enough and happens to play bass. That's cool.
Works for me, but we'll have to hear from the membership committee... Wait, do we have a membership committee?

In that case maybe I should have pointed out he's got a bit of a Duck Dunn look going on as well...even better for my money...and either way he could obviously play the lead role of a music icon in a biographical movie. Me, I got nothing...if they did film one of those biographies I'd be lucky to get a part as an extra to fill out scenes where they need a big audience! :)
