Still putting the digital world back together after some failures, was the last number given out #82?
Just before surgery last month the laptop and then the desktop both took a vacation. Just starting to feel well enough to reconstruct it all. Those that have requested a number I would like to accommodate, just a little time is needed.

Really mild summer so far here in Northern VA.
80's down to 60's at night.

Its definitely humid, but not 96+++ degrees with 96% humidity.

Its like the weather is a full month late or we're in for another very cold fall and winter.

Either that or we'll have peak 90 degree days in September.

You're getting the heat from the South West and the Humidity from the West and off shore.
We're more fortunate getting a slightly cooler pattern from the Jet Stream coming out of the North.
Its still sauna bath city around here because of the Potomac, Shenandoah and off shore, but right now temps are roughly 10 degrees lower than normal.
79 degrees at 3:35 in the afternoon.

Gonna address a couple of issues here.
First... for Bstring..... The last number is currently 96. There is a list on page 45 of this thread that goes up to 85 and a partial list on page 46 that takes it up to 93. Then a few numbers added after that that aren't on any list yet.Unfortunately , Edpal #84 has been banned. Don't know if you want to leave the list intact or re-assign the number. I vote to leave him on..... kinda liked the guy.
And now for the heat. Man , you poor guys down south of me have been cooking for a while. I've been really lucky in my neck of the woods ( western Md.) I think we have only had a couple days that topped 90 around here and the humidity hasn't been awful either. Not bragging , just thanking my lucky stars for a really peaceful summer here. Had a couple of hot ones but no 20 day streaks like we had last year around here.
O K... now I'm gonna brag. My tomato plants are doing awesome this year. I planted 3 to start and the rabbits ate them. Replanted two of them and they came up great and the ones the rabbits ate came back too so now I was up to 5. Then about 10 rogue plants from seeds tossed last year came up. I pulled all but 3 of them out so now I'm sittin' on 8 plants that are going crazy. If anyone is passing down I 81 in western Md. drop me a line and come by and pick a few. I have WAY more than I can handle right now.
Last but not least , I fired the ol' rig up for the first time in a while last night. The rafters rattled , the ducts rattled , the doors rattled and two neighbors complained. Playing out with it a week from Sat. Can't wait.

It takes a while to fully put on the brakes and actually be able to relax.

Get your house in order, get your bills in order and plan for the worst.

I had to re-finance the last $90K here in order to make retirement possible.

What gets you are the unexpected things around the house breaking, high energy bills, crazy car repair bills, and the Taxes never end.
That's all great until you get sick and then, even with insurance and Medicare the unpaid balances can be huge.

I hope I'm not forced to go back to work.

I'm retired mentally, physically, and functionally.

Yep, I'm working on all of that. Hopefully, I won't have to take another job. If I do it won't be in technology. (35 years of chasing it has left me exhausted.) Thanks for the advice/warning. Keep-on, keepin on...

Chasing technology is a full time job by itself!!!
