infected or blocked salivary gland.
It is amazing how quickly and dramatically that happens isn't it...and with absolutely no hint that your face was about to swell up like someone has transplanted a golf ball in your jaw. The symptoms just sounded too obvious and familiar to be anything else. Usually the antibiotics clear it up quickly and I think in some cases they recommend warm compresses a few times a day. Glad it was nothing serious and that you're on the mend Paul!!We have a winner!!!Infected it is! Had to sit around in a Walk In Clinic ‘cos my Doctor’s office is closed until tomorrow. I’m now on an Antibiotic for ten days. Thanks for all the good wishes

Abdul "Duke" Fakir, founding member of the Four Tops, is 83 today.
Today was my Dad’s birthday too. What a voice that man had! Bass to the ace! He would have been 98 had he lived. He passed away at 59.![]()

Maybe after dinner-has digested-and passed through!

Hey I left my lawnmower here, where did it go? Who took the darn thing and didn't even mow the lawn. There are 5 darn kids lost in the tall grass!
As I’ve mentioned I bought my Dorothy an Amazon Echo Dot. We listen to KX96 from the Durham region of the GTA. I said: ‘Alexa play KX96’ She did but we discovered that it was actually KICK from somewhere in California. I can get her to play the right station by saying ‘Alexa play 95.9 FM’. is there a way to store this choice?
I borrowed it last spring, but when I got done mowing I loaned it to Beans On. Last I saw it. Pretty sure @alaskaleftybass was asking to borrow a mower a few months ago.Hey I left my lawnmower here, where did it go? Who took the darn thing and didn't even mow the lawn. This is hysterical! Can you get them to argue and cuss at each other?!!I asked this Siri woman in my iPad how to make Alexa remember things. She googled “how do I make Alexa remember things” and a bunch of suggestions came up. So if you have an Apple thingy, maybe the two of them can work it out and let you know.

Brilliant; I will borrow this idea for next year; have a link to the card holder?
Bass rounds out this performance nicely.
Sorry, it was an off-the-cuff, one-off, design-it-as-I-go-along project, so there's no documentation. It was really just a couple pieces of aluminum with a milled out section to hold the card and a bunch of bolts.
I'm such an idiot; I thought you bought it
Should have known that anything that cool had to be fabbed; nice work
I know this sounds ridiculous, but it might be an infected or blocked salivary gland. Years ago the same thing happened to a friend and we could actually see the swelling occurring - it was like those films where they speed up the action so you can watch a flower bloom in 30 seconds. As I recall it was easily resolved without any kind of surgical intervention. Best wishes for a quick resolution Paul!
That's my favorite kind of machining, from mind to swarf to productSorry, it was an off-the-cuff, one-off, design-it-as-I-go-along project, so there's no documentation. It was really just a couple pieces of aluminum with a milled out section to hold the card and a bunch of bolts.
