^ bidding on movie rights around the idea of an inherited banjo bass
needs to be film noir

Perfect subject matter for a film noir. Perhaps a child could inherit it. The film can focus on how the banjo bass affected and changed their life, both in the negative and the positive. It can conclude with them dying, going to heaven, and being the odd one out for causing stress when they insist in joining an angel harp band.

Talk about hitting the ball out of the park with your debut albun. It’s such a powerful song that keeps being covered. Written by Floyd and Steve Cropper in 1966. And what a lineup.

Isaac Hayes keeps coming up as a musician and songwriter of Stax material. Most people know him for the double album entitled Shaft which was used in the 1971 movie of the same name. A time when music moved more into disco.

Knock on Wood musicians.

Thanks @beans-on-toast. This is one of my favorite tunes that my group played, way back then. Great bass pattern, especially when playing Apple lossless through a good 2.1 or better speaker system, or, quality head/earphones :).

Speaking of headphones, a few months ago I bought some Lola’s from Blue. They aren’t super expensive but at the same time not cheap. I managed to get a sale price white colored ones.

I’ve never been able to use headphones for extended times, my inner ears swell despire not using them at high volume levels. That problem went away with these headphones. I don’t know why but I can use them for hours at a time with no ill effects. They are light and comfortable. Sound very good.

Born on a leap year?

Married on a leap day! So, didn't have an actual anniversary day this year.

Instead, we celebrated all last month! 35 years this year!! It's true what they say, "Love is lovelier the second time around", at least for us.

We each learned many things from our first marriages, and neither of us have gone too whacko for too long since. We raised a blended family of five kids together, and yesterday enjoyed the baby shower for our 8th grandchild. Life is good.

Now get off my muddy lawn! :)

Should Victor Wooten be cast to play the part?
