Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I have a Behringer condensor mic, an SM58, and a Carvin imitation SM58. The Carvin mic came free with a Carvin PA system I bought in the mid-90's. With a touch of echo or reverb, the Carvin cheapo ROCKS! for recording! I love it more than the condenser. And yes, I do go for the lower priced equipment because I turn around so much all the time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it--

I had the same problem. That's why my bandmates always wore helmets with faceguards.

Three cashiers, mid to late 20’s, in a grocery tonight were combining efforts to figure out the twelve times table. Apparently 4x12=56 according to two of the three. One had 10x12 correct. This wasn’t a put on, they were seriously trying to figure it out.

Sigh.

has some of the Fischer-Price vibe to it.

I understand there is a minimum IQ required to perform some tasks. Yet always a good idea to see who's assigning those tasks and for what reason (and on whose authority). Or who may wish to purposefully under-educate, and for what reasons. "Follow the money," Deep Throat said.

There are abacus apps, and I know this because I just looked :banghead:

And I don't personally count arithmetic among my skill sets. Perplexed my physics teacher to see my ability to construct a perfect proof and arrive at the wrong answer every time. They sent me to the English department.
