Getting a 4track

Any good brands or models? looking to spend around 400 max would like to keep it around 250-300 as im trying to get enough to get active emg's put in later this month

There are a lot of options out there. If you are looking for portability and something to sketch out ideas (not a demo), I would recommend the Boss Micro BR. It gives you 4 tracks (not counting a track you can create with the built in loops. It also has built in effects and a decent condenser mic all for around $220.00 American.

nice ill check it out, yeah im just looking for something to save those riffs on because writing them down or putting them in guitarpro can be really tricky to save the rythm because they're pretty hard to time sometimes

Then I would go for it. It is pretty small too. It fits in my case so it is always there when the muse hits.
