G'day fellow low enders,
I just wanted to give a shout out to Mark at www.talkingbass.net for the the help in me achieving a 'lightbulb moment' today!
I should have done it sooner
but I'm currently delving a little deeper into the subjects of chord tones, chord construction and intervals to try and gain a better general understanding of bass line construction with the added benefits of increased improv skills and fret board knowledge.
I found his series of vids 'Music Theory for Bass Guitar - Intervals (3 Parts)' to be well put together, full of valuable info without being overwhelming and are understandable by someone like me with little music theory knowledge! Tho I will admit that I watched a few sections more than once
If you're in need of help wrapping your brain around Intervals I would suggest that you check these out! Time well spent, they certainly helped me.
Thanks Mark!
Off to the Bassment
Cheers!
edit: your to you're
