Just looking for opinions on having someone ( Emma Anzai from Sick Puppies) to autograph my Fender white broke pearl Blacktop bass. I mainly play 5 strings and really only play in church or home.

Getting an autograph on a bass

I suppose this is all personal preference, which will vary from person to person of course. But since you asked for opinions, I will offer mine.
For me, it's a real turnoff when I see a bass for sale that I like, but it has been "graffiti'ed" with a permanent marker of some sort. I think it makes the bass look like crap. But then, I don't like the looks of tattoos and piercings on females either, but some guys love that look on a girl. Again, I am only speaking from my own personal preference on this.
When it comes right down to it, do what you want in life and be happy, regardless of what anyone else thinks! Because at the end of the day, the only opinion that matters is yours!

I got one of my Pedullas signed by Muse (All three members).
First, clean the thing with alcohol. No finger prints on it at all. No oils on it at all. Get the right color sharpie and have her sign it.
Get the bass clear coated and you can still use it with the signature.
Hind sight and all... I would have not had them sign it. I would rather a poster, or something I could display easier.

I am not going to get the bass signed, but rather a CD by the trio of the band, and a poster. Picture taken with her though.
