Ahwell, seems im goin the squier pack, but ill have the warlock for my b-day;D With the squierpack i can get started right away with amp and the whole crap

Nvm, i though the prices were in euro, but it was pounds so cant afford, back to the awesome warlockbass!

Definately not my cup of tea, I would much rather start playing on an SX or Ibanez, but if you like it go for it

I will^^ Also, to listen to the bass with headphones, do i need to run the bass through an amp and then thru the headphones? Also, problem is, i have no stereo, all i have is the loudspeaers for my computer

Well, if you cannot afford an amp if you purchase the bc rich, you may just want to:

A) Buy a cheaper bass, along with a cheap amp

B) Play un-amplified until you can afford an amp

If you lived in the US, I would sell you my crate practice amp UBER cheap, but I cant even imagine shipping costs to sweden.

You may want to search around some pawn shops around your area for a small, cheap amp. Im sure you could find a half-decent amp for a great, low price. You dont really need anything extraordinary right now.

i would advice you to go to a musikstore and play some different basses to see what you like..

At www.jam.se they have a SX pack that inkludes bass, amp, strap, cable, gigbag, tuner, etc.. basicaly all you need to get sterted.. and it is really cheap too..

IronMaiden, nice pack! perfect for beginners, ill give it a think, but does the bass sound alright? Tried any IM basslines?

It sounds pretty good actually, and if you EQ the amp right and noodle with the tone knob on the bass you can get pretty close to the Steve Harris sound.

Since I guess you can't afford it maby you could buy the Squire Affinity P-Bass instead of the whole pack until you have enough money for the amp and stuff.

Buy my amp.Traynor YGM-3... it works still but with a crakly noise.But this thing is rare and LOUD.

Lol, you live in canada;P Anyway i have one last problem though, seeing the shape of the warlockbass bottom, what kind of guitarstand would work:/? The normal ones wouldnt work since it aint round down there, and icant afford a coffin:/

well youd have to get a stand where the stand holds it by the neckive seen them at guita stores when they hand the of the ceiling

Btw, is it normal that the hand / fingers gets tired when playing only through half say Aces high (constant fast two finger playing) ? It seems that after like maybe even only half a minute the fingers start going slow and locking up, is there anything to worry about or will it get better in time the more i play? I havent tried on an actual bass yet, but i cant keep from playing air bass lol

they'll get REALLY tired at first!
the muscles in your hands are just like any other muscles, they need to be warmed up before you get going too fast....

Ye, also i noticed its more tiresome to scrape them in the air, i guess they kinda rest on the string whenb you play on the bass damn im excited about starting, lol im listening to alot of songs on powertabs, cool program=) thanks for the advice whoever gave the advice
