Getting overpaid - owner wants it back

Oh, that's horrible! I tried a Big Mac once, decades ago, and it was so bad I've never eaten another. I grill much better burgers in my back yard, and I'm not that good a cook.

We have a local chain called P. Terry's: About Us - P. Terry's
You can get a double cheeseburger, double meat, double cheese, 100% Black Angus beef, no hormones, no antibiotics, no filler, never frozen; freshly hand-cut french fries that are waaay better than McDooky's; and a chocolate shake for $10.65.
Not a big mac donalds fan either, but it is a food chain we have so you have a point of reference.

It's a week later. Did this get resolution?
It's been a couple weeks but yes this did get resolution. The BL called the bar manager....who as I mentioned earlier was the booking agent also. He said that he forgot how much he was supposed to pay us but honestly felt that we deserved it based on the sales he made. He said don't worry about it and that he would be taking care of all the booking going forward. He said they will be booking us again regardless, although we offered a discount for the next gig.

I also want to give a brief update on the contract since that is what most of the "pay it back" crowd is standing on. I wasn't aware earlier but this particular gig was booked through a booking site called The Bash and the agreement with the artist and the end customer does not prohibit the giving of tips. The Bash gets their cut based on the quoted value of the gig up front. The artist and customer complete the transaction outside of that. There is no formal per gig contract like other booking sites we use....ie: Gig Salad

Getting an excellent resolution from the OP after a 14 page thread:
