GHS Balanced Nickel strings

I strung up my Geddy Lee Jazz with BNs the other day, so far so good. Still have a well broken in set on my Precision, and the Precision Deluxe has RCBs. And now I am curious about the new RCBs. Those might find their way on my P Deluxe when they come out.
I want to hear and feel a head to head A/B comparison of Balanced Nickels against the newly reengineered roundcore Bass Boomers. That'll be a knock down drag out!

Put a set of 44-106 BN on Am Special jazz (not mine), the tone sound fuller than current Dunlop Nickel.
For me who prefer fingerstyle is licking with it warmth tone.
But the owner look not happy with it because he still prefer Dunlop Nickel tone.

This 44-106 is feel stiffer compare to PW 44-102 on my Cort Arona IV.

Any chance of a Pressurewound set of Balanced Nickels, @Jon Moody? (Your video for the Bronze Pressurewounds got me wondering, since you mention they're wound like the Balanced Nickels.)

Had to make a quick review of my review ;) Review: GHS Balanced Nickels 4M-NB
So 10 playing hours to settle in and for the E string to open up and roar. :hyper: I've had this set on for not quite 90 days, and I have played the heck out 'em. :bassist: They are nowhere near giving up the ghost as many roundwounds already would have, so I'm not changing them out yet. In fact they still sound superb. I am going to wring this set out until they are totally and completely dead. I have a fresh set in reserve that will go on straight away. :woot:
