GHS Precision Flats M3050 vs CM3050

I found the M3050 set to be a little too stiff for my preference, and somewhat unbalanced in tension/stiffness/feel especially going from the E to the A, where the A was noticeably stiffer feeling than the E.
The CM3050 set was more comfortable to play, less strenuous on the fretting hand, and more even in feel across all 4 strings. CM3050 was the winner for me.
I wouldn't say that one set really sounded significantly different from the other, so from my experience it comes down to what you prefer for feel under your hands.

I can't comment on the M3050, but I recently had a set of CM3050s (45, 60, 80, 105) put on one of my basses and I like them a lot. They're not as stiff and unyielding as, say, the 45-105 SIT PowerFlats I used years ago (which were a traditional 45, 65, 85, 105 like the M3050s), yet are still stiff enough that the action on the bass could be set pretty low. I'm normally not a flats player, but I like these Precision Flats.
What I like about the CM3050 gauge is that the tension is pretty even between the strings (the tension numbers on GHS' chart corroborate that) and my fingers feel that "balanced tension" difference.

So, yeah, GHS Precision Flats CM3050 are changing my mind about flats.

So, yeah, GHS Precision Flats CM3050 are changing my mind about flats.
I can't speak for those two sets, but I use the 3050 regular set (55-70-90-105) and 3025 light set (45-60-75-95), and I like them the same way, depending on the bass.
the light set has a slightly more "equal" tension on every string, the sound is similar, if not the same, and the only real difference is that the heavier set sounds better when you pluck near the neck, due to the higher tension of the strings.
so go for the one you'd find more comfortable.
