Not to derail this thread, but they've got 16 NBA championships, including 10 straight. If guys can rest on old championship threads, certainly Boston has earned that, too....
Like Super Bowl 42, I am talking about right now and referring to New York sports in general against Boston/New England.
BTW...closet Rockets fan. Don't talk to me about sucking Mr. Championships.

I am not a big football fan anymore but I compare the Giants to San Diego back in the 1995 Super Bowl.
The chances of it even being a good game?

You mean the one in New Jersey right, not New York.. Hey look at that, your geographically close proximity team isn't even in the same state.. 'course my geographically close proximity sports team is still better..Anyone in the NE going to the parade or victory rally @ Giants Stadium today ? I'll be there
Oh, sure... I get it - you mean like the World Series...
Got it.

kick is up...and its...good!Yeah, you're getting closer. If I leave a few more bread crumbs along the trail, I may get you over here.
But you're right. Boston kicked butt in the WS and looked like they were starting to assert their domination over sports on the east coast. A 19-0 Pats season would have set them up and over NYC. But, nope, it wasn't to be. Of all the possible teams in the NFC to crush the Patriots dreams....it just had to be New York. Just a reminder from NYC to Boston....no matter how good you guys get to be, you're still in our shadow. They stole the limelight from Boston this time on a level I can not remember being so huge recently.
