I don't use strap locks because I always sit (99.99%) when playing. I'm not in a band, haven't been in many years. However, if I were, I'd defenity would have strap locks and a strap I could count on. It only take one time to snap a headstock off some of them Gibsons as you. I'm kind of surprised the new ones don't come with those already assembled. Oh well, cost saving measures for the manufacturers I suppose.

The responsability is on 'us' to take the necessary precautions to ensure our instrument's survivial. :hyper:

I for one am glad to read a review of these.
I've had a jones for one of the Victory Artists since I first saw the promo literature back in the 1980s.
Someday I'll have one, though they're hard to find.
Thanks for gettin' the word out.

I've never played a Victory Artist but hope to some day. D:bassist:oes anyone know how they compare to an RD Artist? My RD is great. It weighs about 13 pounds but I love the variety of tone I can get and the thing is just a pleasure to play!

The Victory doesn't have the Moog stuff in it, but it doesn't weigh as much and it has the kind of sounds that you would use every day, not just for a portion of one song. Very versatile and solid.
