Gibson EB-0 fretboard removal

Hi guys, first time on the BG side of the house for me, couldn't find any forum history on this one.

I have a friend's EB-0 slothead on the bench, trussrod has become unattached at the body end and will require a fretboard removal. Before I do the usual stuff I thought I would see if anyone knew what glue Gibson used on the neck-fretboard joint. I suppose it's too much to hope that they used hide glue! I would like to preserve as much of the original character as possible so before resorting to trial and error, I thought I'd check. Thanks in advance,
