My contact at Gibson says there are some basses coming but is keeping me in suspense. I'll let you know as soon as I know.
I want to try one. It is one of the few Gibson basses that look appealing to me.
They never removed them from the site. They really are great little basses , I hope they do another run simply so more players can appreciate them.
It's darned time for the next release of Flying V's..... They would sell a bunch i'm guessing....i'm ready

I honestly doubt it. Remember the old cliche that "Gibson hates bassists"? Gibson is too busy attempting to make money on overpriced uncomfortable to play guitars marketed towards elders.
On a more positive note, I agree with this. I wish they would do another run so more of us can appreciate them. These are the best Gibson basses they made in the last 15 years. Honorable mention goes to the EB-4 and EB-5 models from 2013-2014.
That's great to hear. The Tobias rebirth is cool, but I'm a more passive bass player these days.
They are great basses. I have two. It was love at first note. The feel. The balance. The sound. I can slap or play dub reggae with it. It has a softer output than most of my fenders. I flirt with trying a different pickup but I'm not concerned about it enough to go past looking. Finding a form fitting gig bag has been a challenge. People have reported success with the mono guitar sleeve, but I haven't tried one.
I use a Gator TSA Les Paul flight case. It fits snuggly at the headstock, especially as I have a Drop D tuner with a full size clover key. Works beautifully.

Ron Johnson bassist for blues rock artist Samantha Fish has been playing a Les Paul DC bass lately on tour... if someone wants there is good footage to be posted on her FB sites and I assume YouTube as well...I like what i hear BTW but I'm biased lol....not sure if the pickup is stock.
They’re on Reverb. The company is located in England. I have three basses made by them and they’re all excellent. The Vintage REVO Callan runs $749 new. Used ones are about $400 and up.
There’s a really nice used one on there right now for about $340 plus $80:shipping, + tax.

The Vintage REVO Callans are built in Vietnam and China. It looks like Philippine Mahogany. One of my 3 basses was built in Vietnam and two were built in China. They’re all excellent.
I have a Dingwall NG3 that was built in China. It’s phenomenal.

I was able to snap up a new 2019 before gibson pulled the plug. If they come back i will buy another, its an awesome bass! Best new model from gibson in decades!
Too bad the original version wasn’t a Les Paul even if it borrowed the body shape.
