Gig bag for 32” scale?

Does anyone make a gig bag that fits a medium scale bass?

I know that short scales well often sit in a guitar bag, But I’m interested in a medium scale bag

I use a strat gigbag for all my 30" and they all leave about an inch or 2 space at the top. Some guitar bags might actually fit a 32". I know also that Musicman and Fender short scale gig bags have even more room at the top. I don't know the exact specs, and I think they've become a little hard to come by, but you might want to check them out.

The scale matters significantly less than the total length of the bass.

The 30” scale G&L Fallout is just about the same total length as a regular 34” EBMM StingRay while a 30” Stingray has about the total length as a Stratocaster.

I just throw my shorties in a long scale gig bag. Doesn't seem to hurt them.

I keep an Ibanez Mezzo (32") at work in a Fender F610 bag. I brought the bag for my Mustang originally. The mezzo fit so well in it I decided to use the bag at work & keep it hanging on the back of my door. Surprised the tag was still on the bag, but sure made it easy to to say which one it is.

If you want a higher end gig bag for shorter basses, take a look at Serek. The “short scale” bag is 42” long and the “medium/long scale” is 45”.

Did the Serek work out for you? Ive got a 32" Sacramento that came in the old style cheap Serek branded Levis bag. I'm having trouble finding a better bag for it. It needs at least 41.5". I think I would have needed the med/long version of their MUCH improved (and pricey) bag. Even the Carvin (my favorite) SC8N that I keep my 32" Kubikis in was too short for the Sacramento. So what MattZilla said is true. its the overall lenth of the bass that matters. I don't like too much extra room in my cases and I'm too cheap to spring for the Serek bag...so the hunt continues....

Might be about perfect for a Serek or Mono bag. They're great but reportedly mighty snug for standard FSO long-scale basses from what I understand.

My Gator bag has a removable pad and I move it based on which bass I'm carrying.
