Gig tonight

Playing for a wedding tonight.

Awful room - all concrete. Sound heck was brutal.

But there's a tap room next door!

Excellent!

That might have been one of the most difficult shows I/we’ve ever done.

The room sound was so reverby we couldn’t hear anything. Concrete floor and walls, concrete panel high ceiling. Just one massive WHOOSH of sound. Snippets of vocals would come through and I’d know where we were.

But we put on a great show, the crowd loved us and danced from start to finish.

Rock. And. Roll.

btw, that’s a very nice Czech-style Pilsner.

Sounds like more work than a gig should be, some rooms just beg to not have live music by design.

If the crowd was with you and dancing than you did your job well.
