"Cemetery Rock" Yulee Georgia. shows NOTHING. Live Music in Yulee, Fernandina, Georgia show nothing even similar. SOMETHING should show up in club listings, Urbanspoon, google maps, business profiles, Yelp, other band event pages... Either there's a mistake about the name or the place simply doesn't exist.

Im wondering if "Cemetary Rock" is either the name of the night this particular promoter hosts (as in not the name of the venue) or if its recently been renamed.
One would think that a popular venue would at least have a yelp review or something, though.
I remember back back long ago back in uni. We had a choice of two gigs. We were a mixed cover/originals band. We had the option of playing a multi-band rock event OR to "headline" a party event. Both were unpaid. BL (booker in both cases) told us that the party would have at least a thousand people with all the bells and whistles (free drink after the show, couple of club managers, etc). The guitar player and I shared another band and had the gut feel that the multi-band event was better for us and that the marketing angle would be better served there. Unfortunately BL decided for the party. Turned out to be max 50 people, we had probably 5 square meters to have drums, amps and us. In the middle of our loudest song, the guitar player and I were holding a conversation because the neighbors complained...
I did a search for this live venue.... indeed lots of ghosts and cemeteries in Florida. I hope you're not playing in a cemetery. The big ones could "sit" more than 500 I suppose. Even more if they're stacked on top of each other, lying down.

Go scout out the place first.
If it's so great, then you should be able to go there - without your equipment - and observe a hot night. Then take it from there.
If you're not old enough to get in, then try to find someone else who can scout it for you.
If you can't do either - maybe you want to think twice about it before booking it.

Ive been to a swingers party, and have been invited to clubs.
Every one of the clubs had a website!
Hey, I'm just flipping you $#!+. You could just have easily asked why I think it sounded like one!
Drummer apparently is a terrible communicator with his gf. He said she doesn't know if it's actually called cemetery rock, but the inside is decorated like a cemetery. Also, he's now thinking $250 a person is $250 for the band -- which honestly isn't bad for us. She has played their twice and can confirm it's nice, but I think she was more "along for the ride" and didn't know the details too well. Also, her dad is friends with the owner.
Here's my thinking: given the right time, we'd drive that far for $10 and an audience of 50 or so. We love playing new cities, especially if they have a good stage/sound/light system. As long as there's no risk, i'll still do it.
Freebird is pretty much top of the line before you go to arenas/theatres here. It's pretty awesome, but I'd like to move up eventually.
We are in fact in high school and under 18.
And I loved the movie references.
