Hello ladies just thought I would come in here and give this thread a bump.
What’s everyone been up to?
I’ve actually been playing out for the first time in a long time.
There is a local open mic I’ve been playing at, helping out with sound and have sort of become the resident bassist for everyone.
It’s usually just simple chord progressions but it can be fun and it is good practice.
Other then that I’ve been working on some projects,
I just got a smashed up strat copy yesterday that I’m putting back together, the body was smashed into 10 pieces.
Anyways here are some project pics and as always I hope everyone is well
Till next time,
Samantha.:)

Is there enough interest for this to actually be a club then? With numbers and all? If so, I'm willing to go back through and handle the number assignments as best I can. (I'd check and make sure previous posters want numbers, too, if they didn't specify.) Tricia, you started this thread, so what's your call?

I guess I'll go through and post numbers sometime in the next week. You all can take them or leave them, your choice. But that way it doesn't have to be done again in case this thread ever does get going again.

Welcome GGirl!

Thank you! Happy to be here. Do we get the number of our posting or are you handing out numbers Rosie? :)

I'll hand out numbers. Hopefully by the end of the week, but be patient with me. Between work, school and kids, sometimes things take longer than I think they will.

no worries. thanks for taking the initiative! :)

here's a question in the meantime for anyone, male or female, who wishes to chime in: why are female bass players a commodity? are we any different from women who play any other musical instruments? i dunno how to answer this myself, that's why i am curious to ask on here.
