Double Bass Giving up booze?

I hope you American folks understanding pub culture in Blighty because your perspective won't be in tune with the drinking culture over there, whether it's tea or whatever...
Drinking is a social activity over there, where the kids, friends and family are involved...

So hanging out for several hours having several pints isn't unusual... and doesn't necessarily mean you're some kind of alcoholic. I lived there for a long time ... So my advice to the OP is to flip on the tele... ;)

Oh, Watch my favorite comedy "Only fools and horses" to possibly dig what I mean... Although this is TB...

Hi, I've been drinking too much for too long and developed a beer belly amongst other things.
So I am currently on day five of no booze at all, I was having 4-5 pints a night every night, not taking a break.

I can't say I feel much different yet?
Has anyone here ever stopped for a time? what difference(s) did it make to you?

I personally have no experience with this. BUT i have two close friends who gave up the booze for good and they both credit this book for it:

only other thing i can add is that the people i know who cut down dramatically, or all together quit, look WAY healthier and seem way happier. if your considering it i'd say do it and don't look back... easier said than done.. but it's worth it im sure.
