GK CX cabs?

Seems there are definitely different tastes in this thread ha. In your experience do you think that 2 neo 12s could be loud enough for a 4 piece in A standard? I tend to not have an outrageously loud stage volume with my 410.

Thanks, I sometimes play on a wooden stage so I was worried about not having the rubber feet on the bottom.

I'm a big fan of Gramma pads, especially on wooden stages. I put my cabs in whatever orientation on top of a gramma pad that's on top of a Carvin dolly with casters as my stage "platform". It makes the rig highly movable when setting up, and helps me sounds consistent from stage to stage with no "boom" unless I want it. I'm not much into "stage coupling". I'm sure lots of folks here are, however. ...to each their own!

I have a sort of dolly platform I'm thinking of putting my stuff on too. good idea.

I use a GK 550 amp thru a GK 212 Neo and it's loud! In a mid size room and I stand next to a Marshall half-stack. I could drown him out if I wanted to. I don't - he's good! Two GK 112 NEO cabs would give you a 600 watt rating at 4 ohms total. My 550 would be too much for that. But several of the GK amps that can give you 400 - 500 watts at 4 ohm would probably work. I mention this because those cabs are only about 30 pounds each and you can easily put two in the back seat or trunk. My 212 as delivered is 60 pounds but I can still manage to get it into the back seat. Barely.

I have owned and do own several GK heads and cabinets,mostly using my MB Combo. I have the MB115,MB212 and the MB410 alone or use my Rumble 800 and Ampeg Rocket Bass 115 with extra cabinets. One of those is a GK CX210,it works great with either Combo amp but obviously the Fender Rumble 800 is more wattage than the Ampeg. The difference being that the Ampeg has a 15 in it ,with the Rumble being 2x10’s. So with all the different combinations I have to choose from the CX-210 matches well with the Rumble and the Ampeg.
