Just got my GK Fusion 550.

What a killer amp!! All the hype was worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

The motorized dials work perfectly, and the tone is pure heaven. Puts all other hybrid amps to shame. This will be the last amp I ever buy!

Well guess what my local shop got today and guess who got to demo my helms single cut a fender p bass and jazz. Me yep. Its a killer. Looks sexy with the power and tone to boot. He is holding it for me till I can sale my other amps. But I am getting it well below cost

The Fusion 550 is 27.5 pounds according to the specs. Is that considered lightweight?

doh,,, didn't read all of the specs on it, ( guess i missed the weight ) i thought it was GK's entry into the lightweight world,, guess not.

Okay. But I have better thing to do than lie over the internet. I even took it out the shipping box and hooked it up. That and the fact I have been a customer since day one for them got me a good price break. I would imagine other stores got them this week too.

Ya.....I am not sure who would ever think that a 3 rack space head would be light weight. GK does have a light weight entry but it's not the 550.

I guess the positive news is that GK has a flash intro page of the 550 on their home page now. So.....that must mean something doesn't it????
