GK Fusion 550 Update

Nobody else has played one yet? They have mine on hold at red dirt brothers a small shop. As far as a review. The sound is somewhat bigger that the 1001 that I played there. Sounds like a gk with tubes lol. The eq really works. Not just in the far reaches. Didn't try the bi amp stuff. Has a good Range of tones. The bright and deep switches and the adjustable contour made it sound great with every style I played and every bass. And I played it thru a gk 410 cab

Hopefully I will be picking it up Monday. Still trying to sale my old amps to get the rest of the cash. I don't by gear on credit

would like to see these Fusions hit the markets, as i jumped into the lightweight field with a LMII, which didn't work out for me :scowl:

dumped the LMII & picked up a 1001RB-II & found the tone i was searching for,,, so hopefully the Fusion will retain that awesome GK tone, & i can again enter the lightweight realm. :hyper:

it was the GK MB2 i was thinking of instead of the Fusion,,,

carry on yall....

I emailed him and he says he has them in stock and will ship in 24-48 hrs after payment. But will he beat RMC's price AND free shipping? I would like to hear one first, or at least read a hand's-on review.

I sent a better price request for one to see if they can beat RMC's price but haven't heard back from them today. I'm thinking about just ordering one from RMC audio, I got a quote and they have them in stock.

Not trying to persuade you one way or another, but I really like giving business to RMC. They're one of those companies that seem to go the extra mile with their service. When you a call a human answers the phone and is very polite. They don't charge for shipping (most items). They'll follow up with you on a sale. They're basically the opposite of MF and GC, which I tend to really apprecaite when I can find it.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this amp, like many people have, for the better part of what, 3 years!?! I don't want to wait to save 10 bucks and they seem like an excellent company. ::Gets out credit card:::D
