GK into Ampeg

Has anyone tried running a GK 800RB into 1 or 2 Ampeg PF115HEs ?

I have an old GK, and a PF500, but haven't gotten the PF115's.

Haven't heard it done with tbe pf cabs but an 800rb into an SVT810 used to be pretty standard fare, and quite a good sound. The pf cabs are said to have a "classic ampeg sound" so it oughtta be just fine. Nothing to lose trying it.

Any good head will work with any good cab IMHO. The 800RB isn't my thang, but it's a classic head at this point, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I am really happy with my old GK400 in 2 Ampeg SVT210AV
