Stairs, bro stairs.
Where I live cabs are free and come with the price of the room. Amps have to be rented separately. Now there ARE some studios around here that provide amps as well, but I usually dont go to those ones.
Stairs, at commercial rehearsal studios - seriously? That doesn't make sense. Out of curiosity, what's the name of the studio(s) you use?
You would have hated rehearsing at the old Atlantic studio back in the day. I believe it was on the third floor in an old building in NYC, no elevators. Of course, some of the greatest songs ever recorded were done there, so maybe it was worth it.
Quick question: if I have 2 Neo 410s (8 ohms each), and want to connect them both, can I hook one to the MB200 via speakon and then the second cab to the first cab via speaker cable to present 4 ohms to the head?
I've just bought a mb200, it is amazing! Played it for 3 hours straight could not believe what i was earing!
Next on my list, a gk cab, probably a neo 112...
Hahaha hearing! Sorry guys my fault!
Hey guys, what is your favorite standalone cab when you use your mb200?
A 4 ohm super efficient cab would be best.
The volume (SPL) gain of a 4ohm cab vs. an 8ohm cab (all else equal) is so little - I'd go with an 8 ohm cab so a second cab could be added for bigger gigs too.
