My buddy let me demo a unit today .
So far it sounds better than my AI Ten2 and is lighter and far less expensive at $399.00.
Although the AI has way more features with 2 channels and more eq I am surprised at the natural, open sound of the GK.
I will connect my Fishman Platinum and Radial PZ pre to see if either of them make a difference.

As usual, this is all very relative. The MB112 works very well with my Eminence RN-4 EUB with the stock pickup. However it is unusable with my carved DB with a Fishman Full Circle. The GK MB112 is heavily voiced with scooped mids and boosted lows and highs, before you touch the EQ or contour switch. It's a nice amp with surprising performance at a good price, if it works for you.

Francis Deck (fdeck) hooked the MB200 to a real time analyser to find flat settings. Quoted many times on TB.
