Double Bass GK MB115 vs. MB150

Anyone have any input?
I know that the 115 has the 150 beat in terms of wattage and price; how about tone, construction, etc.?

The MB150 has a metal cabinet & the new MB series all have wooden cabs, which is bound to make a significant difference in some aspects. And a 15" driver will sound different (not necessarily better though) than a 12". Also, the 115 is ported, and the 150 is sealed. I suspect the heads are EQed differently, too.

I don't have experience with the MB115, but in general I am not a fan of 15" speakers with the Double Bass. They usually have too much low mid coloration and can be boomy. The MB210 however is definitely interesting. The MB150S is my combo of choice for almost all of my gigs. It has a very natural sound, and seems to add just enough to my acoustic sound when I need it to fill out the bottom. Great sounding DB amp. You need to try out as many as you can with your set up to see what works for you however.
