GK Neo IV cabs

Do these cabinets actually exist?

Have yet to see a single review anywhere online.

Yes they do, the first runs sold out instantly and we will be shipping more over the next few weeks. Like every one else we are having difficulty getting materials and it is pushing out our production lead times.

That is exactly why I pre ordered mine! I just might be one of the first peeps to own one of these! I consider it my forever cab!

So I’ve had the chance to use the extension 12 on a handful of gigs so far. Apologies if I’ve posted this before … there are a few current threads on the Legacy heads & combos.

All I can say is I’ve kinda taken it easy but have been gradually bumping it up. I guess I’ve done maybe 3 or 4 receptions with the 5 string (pictured) and I think just one with the Fender 4 string.

First off I’m really digging the Legacy 800 12 combo. It packs a punch and is easy to dial in. I can’t say I can actually “hear” the bottom 12 … more like I feel it. The whole thing handles the low B very well which was my primary concern.

So far so good. I have a bunch of gigs coming up where I’ll just be using the single 12 combo … but quite a few more with the 2x12 stack. Hope this helps.

Cool blue lighting, nice pic.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an 8 ohm 212 to pair up with my GB Streamliner 900. Going on faith a bit, as there's no Long & McQuaid anywhere near me that has the new cabs in stock.

Tried the Streamliner through an older neo 412, and it seemed like a winning combination, so I'm pretty confident this should work out.

where is everyone pre-ordering these cabs from? Sweetwater?

I preordered a Neo IV 112 extension for my new Fusion 112 combo amp earlier this month from Sweetwater and was told end of the month for ETA. Got a few hours of July left I suppose but not holding my breath :) not in a rush, whenever it shows I’ll try and remember to post an update.

FWIW, that Fusion combo - *chef’s kiss*…I’m in love.

End of July ETA has turned into “middle of this month if all goes well” for those curious. No biggie for me and seems understandable enough given supply chain issues across the board lately. Just figured an update was in order after chatting with SW today.

Hi there,

So I just ordered a Fusion S 800 head and a neo iv 212. It's my first ever big amp and cab buy so I'm excited. But I also wonder if I made a mistake? It seems like I could have bought a fusion combo for a LOT less $$, and had from what I can tell basically the same thing?

Someone please tell me how my new rig will be better, I need help lol.
