Glarry has a new 6 string bass

How do they sell their 5 string Ibanez copies that weight about 7 pounds for $99?
I dunno, that's the question.
I can't figure out how they can sell anything that cheap. They still have to pay for materials, not to mention everything else it costs to manufacture a product. I'm sure they have to import some materials.
I just can't imagine how they can manufacture instruments and ship them across the planet at that price and actually make money.

Volume and CNC machines. Not as much hand work so not as many bodies needed to come in contact with the actual product at this price point.
IMHO

I'd expect needing some fret work and okay to bad electrics for the price. My real question is, doesn't Glarry lean towards thicker necks? That would be my only concern.
As an indication...

Hopefully not the 6 string.

:)

Right I forgot about those, I had one too. Liked it but gave it to a good friend who had helped me out of a couple of tight spots. He liked it so I gave it to him.
Still go by and play it once in a while. Still have the Brice.

:)
I bought it to test the waters with a 6 string and shortly following I bought the Brice fretless 6 and then a Warwick fretless 6 popped up for a steal and the Brice and SX sat and collected dust lol so I flipped them.

I used to work for a company that designed car audio accessories. We had the product made in China. If it cost £25 to make it and to ship it to the UK, we would sell it to the retailers for £50. They would sell it to the public for £100. Glarry are selling direct. You pay more for shipping 1 bass than for a container full, and they're paying Aliexpress or someone their sales commission. But you're not paying the 75% commission that the importers and retailers charge between them.
