Is that bass originally fretless or is it one of your mods? Did you change any of the electronics?

it had a fretted neck and i changed the neck/hardware/electronics to get the ax in the pic. (since that pic was taken: i've changed the electronics from passive to active.)

Ernie ball cobalt flats.. I was a die hard d'addario chromes guy since the late 90's but switched a few years ago to EB Cobalt flatwounds and have never looked back.

I’m very interested in one; wish I knew someone to help me lear how to do a set up. What brand of flats do you plan to use? Also, would you recommend Dunlop strap locks? Thanks. Peace.

There are tons of Youtube videos about doing setups. It's really hard to go truly wrong. Just take your time.

I've used Dunlop strap locks for like 17 years, they go on all my basses.

I have been trying to sort out the neck/string spacing specs. I know the nut width is 54mm... has anyone determined additional deets? I.e. string spacing, neck width at 12th and/or 22nd frets?
