Glockenklang preamp in Fender Deluxe Precision

And can you tell me how is the sound in passive mode?
Does it sounds better in passive than with the stock preamp? I have the impression that the Fender preamp "stop the breath" of the pickups... it's not natural.

Also, how is the mids with the 2EQ flat? present? scooped?

I have a 2006 American Deluxe P that I'm thinking about doing this with, but I have one concern -- does the Glock require any cavity work? I am really hesitant to any body modifications. Thanks!
