Go-to class D head and cab

I picked up a used Quilter BB802 for a great price, and I've been loving it. Looking to move to lighter cabs eventually - the Eden D210XLT sounds great but it's heavy. Been pairing it with an Acme Low B2 for headroom, volume, and lowend.

Trying to decide how to move to lighter cab setup - maybe 2x 112 cabs (either the quilter bassdock or Genzler BA-112). Coming from a weird combo of cabs and not sure how to translate it into newer ones.

If I’m using an amp it’s usually one of 2 combinations, either

Loud / Outdoors (60lbs)
Mesa TT-800 w/ Subway 410 Cabinet

-OR-

Super Light Weight and still Loud (30lbs)
Quilter V803 w/ GR Bass AT212slim+

Between these 2 combinations I have pretty much everything covered.

Otherwise I’m a small pedalboard and IEM’s

😊

My preferred self contained amp head remains a Demeter VTBP-201 preamp with the Demeter Minnie 800D installed inside it. Not a whole lot of tonal bandwidth; but, what it does is exceptional.

There are a whole lot of great choices now. I did quite happily gig the Mesa TT-800 for a while and still gig a GK Legacy 800 in the Legacy 112 combo. The Genzler Kinetix would likely be pretty satisfying.

But, I’ll happily stick with the Demeter.

Also, I’m getting lots of great sounds from Sushi Box pedal board preamps feeding the self standing Demeter Minnie 800D.

Thanks, just ordered a Quilter, we'll see how it works out.
