Going for walks, seeing some cool cars.

Saw this walking to my Jeep from the bank today. Owner bought it 30+ years ago from an elderly gent - it's cool in my book.

Saw this bad boy in downtown Eureka, Montana yesterday. Back in the day I woulda given my left leg for a ride just like this one.

-Mike
That reminds me of the Ranchero vs. El Camino debate. Personally, I prefer the longer, curvier look of the Ranchero, but I wouldn't kick either one of them out of my garage!

Yes, it's cool. However that car seems disproportionate and bloated looking to me, but then again I'm a Chevy guy.

Too dark tonight to get a good picture of my ElCamino, I'll grab one tomorrow morning and post it up.

I tend to like the El Camino's more - for most of the series.
Though I do not particularly like the late 1970's series

A local here has an early '60's Ranchero like this one (but not this one). I do like that.

So there I go, saying I prefer the El Camino, then posting a Ranchero I like and an El Camino that I don't...

My ElCamino.... 68 SS396. One of 5200 or so built out of a total run of 42000 in 1968. Real 138 car and not a clone. I've owned it since 1992 and the last time it was on the road was 2013.

I think one of the reasons I like the Ranchero is because I have a special affinity for '70s "land yacht" cars. Just for looking at, not for driving! :D

My wife and I recently visited Harrisburg PA. We rented a car using the "manager's special" option because it was VERY cheap. Usually this results in something pretty big or otherwise not terribly useful for two (like a minivan or a full sized pickup.) This time, we were given the option of a GMC Colorado or this -

(That's my wife. She was annoyed that I chose that moment to snap the pic.)
