Good Alternatives to Hercules Stands?

Not sure what sub forum to put this in so I started here.

Are there any guitar/bass stands that are of fairly comparable quality to the Hercules, but less money?

In particular, I need a dual stand (for 2 basses).

I had an old Hercules that I used for years and years that finally crapped out and got sticker shock when seeing what they are selling for now. Thanks!
These are available a few places. Amazon, etc.
They look very high quality. Probably not cheaper than Hercules, but an alternative.

I also really like my [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] guitar stand. I think it is indeed a bit cheaper.
Simple and elegant, and I like how it folds into one nice package for stowing:

All in all, I think these stands are all pretty affordable. 29€ here for a Hercules, 22€ for the Ultimate.

This is the same stand I use at home, practice and on a gig. Never failed me or made me feel insecure about my bass.

K&M has some good stuff. I have their hanging locking stand, which I think is the Memphis Pro, and it's killer and light. Ultimate is pretty good, too, but I like the K&M a little better. Hercules is killer too, but it's a little heavy and yellow for my tastes.

Nothing
I would never trust my guitars and basses with anything less.

I agree to that statement.

When my daughter was about 2 she grabbed my bass and knocked it to the floor with a standard stand.

Been a Hercules fan ever since. Have a single, double and triple that I thrust with all my basses.

Convinced my buddy to look into the 6 guitar stand.

He bought 5 of them.

Bulletproof!

I'll go against the grain here and say that I have a very low opinion of Hercules stands, and I don't really understand the love that many people have for them. My experience with them is that a lot of their mechanisms are unnecessarily complicated and don't stand up to abuse - the pins that lock legs in place on some models are a prime point of failure, as are the cams that lock sections in place on other models. I much prefer K&M stands, which in my experience tend to be to be simple, effective, and robust.

My experience is similar. I have had Hercules stands come apart when opening them and also not properly lock in place when setting the height. The cradle is excellent and I use their wall hangers at home, but I am not crazy about the stage stands. I do have one I keep in the car and use often, but I prefer Ultimate stands.

I use and prefer my Ultimate GS-100 stands. I have 3. I do have 2 of the Hercules GS414B stand. I just prefer the Ultimate ones more. That and the face that the Hercules runs about $35 and the Ultimate is only $25 (average)
