Even though I only had you less than a year, you were an instant favorite. Right now, you're probably in the vehicle of the douche bag who stole you out of my house this morning...on your way to a pawn shop, perhaps.

I hope to find you again one day, but of not, I hope you arrive in the possession of a player who appreciates you.

With love & fond memories,

Krustwell

Yeah, came in through a downstairs window and ransacked the place. Lucky for me they shut the dog in our "junk room" and obviously didn't look around very hard in there or they'd have found my 'ol L1000 & SB1! Also glad they didn't hurt old Krusty dog.

Thanks for the advice. Will be calling the pawn shops soon.

Ouch. B&E?

What actions have you taken? Notify the police?

Keep pictures of the bass. Notify pawn shops and guitar shops that it has been stolen with description and serial #. Chances are, it'll pop up somewhere.

Ouch, that sucks, both for the loss of the bass and the horrible feeling you get when you know someone has gone through your stuff...

Once we got *everything* taken from a rehearsal space we rented. Four months later we got it all back! Well, I recovered my two amplifiers, minus the footswitch for my good old Laney VC50 (heavy beast!)
Keep your eyes open and let people know, especially pawnshops. Offer a small reward.

Times like these I wish I were friendly with the Sopranos ;)

Good luck!

Man that sucks X3. Put a partial S/N up so we can watch for it. Try checking Search allofcraigs.com to make sure it doesn not go up for sale in another city. Put a pic up and we can watch for it.

Sorry, glad they didn't get em all.

I am optimistic the bass will turn up in a pawn shop. It's a longshot, but I've got a feeling.

As for pics, I don't think I have any. Ditto S/N. That's about to change, though.

Everyone reading this: learn from my mistake! Go photograph your basses & document serial numbers & keep it somewhere safe. It could happen to you! In the middle of the freakin day!

The bass in question is black n maple with very few dings or scratches. The only real identifying feature is that the 3 way switch has been disconnected.

Thanks everyone. Tomorrow is another day.

This was my old bass and I am quite saddened to hear about this. I have been in contact with Mr. Krustwell and will be providing pics as well as some unique info that can undoubtedly prove ownership. Now let's hope the bass shows up somewhere...
