Good DiBox with USB interface

Hi,

I used a sound card (Presonus Audiobox 22VSL) and DiBox (Avalon U5 or Aguilar ToneHammer) for recording/practice for a long time. But I need some mobility, so I'm looking for a device that has less dimensions than AudioBox + ToneHammer/Avalon. Any card I used (Audiobox 22VSL, Line6 TonePort Series, M-Audio, etc) without DI/Pre gives me a dull and quiet sound. I found something like this Invalid Link Removed , but it sort of complicated to me and it hasn't a headphone output. I need an ordinary DiBox (like Radial JDI) with integrated USB interface to PC. Anyone hear about such devices?

You’re basically looking at a small interface with a nice sounding DI. Check the small format stuff from Apogee, RME, Audient, SPL... lots of good choices out there.

Had an Apogee Duet 2 for quite a while and the DI was quite good . Not U5 caliber, but it wouldn’t be the weakest link in the capture by any stretch.
