Anyone got any good medley mashup suggestions:

A few I've done or are currently doing:

1. Free/Train to Can't You See/Marshall Tucker

2. Livin On A Prayer to You Give Love A Bad Name- Bon Jovi (Takes out the modulation in LOAP...I cant sing that high lol)

3. Hunger Strike/Temple of the Dog to Dear Mr. Fantasy (borrowed from Warren Haynes)

4. Ring of Fire/Achy Brakey Heart/Little Less Talk and A Lot More Action

What else ya'll got.....

How funny! I have become the 3rd wheel to an acoustic duo, and have dropped the Floyd into the Neil, in performance.

In the past, I've done these:

You Got Another Thing Comin'/Mony Mony (Judas Priest/Billy Idol)
Is She Really Going Out With Him/Wild Mountain Honey (Joe Jackson/Steve Miller Band)
What I Like About You/I'm the Man (Romantics/Joe Jackson)-this is your standard E-A-D mashup, and there are those who will also incorporate Rockin' in the USA into it, as well (not me; too cliche).

The more creatively adventurous the mashup, the more wild the success, if it happens, particularly if you are able to span different genres in the song selections.

We do What I Like About You/Cherry Cherry/Rockin' in the USA and back into What I Like. We do some other mash-ups, like Last Train To Clarksville with Are You Experienced in the middle, and we have the mother of all mash-ups, Pink Cadillac with bits of 9 other songs interspersed ( I think it's 9, anyway). We also do Lady Madonna with 16 bars of Hey Bulldog in the middle.

the Pink Cadillac medley is on our website under "sample tunes". it was a studio recording done a few years before I joined the band, but we still play it the same and it is a "required" song at our gigs. the Last Train to Clarksville mashup is also on the Sample Tunes list, at the bottom, and you have to scroll to see it (#8).
