Depends on the quality of the recone job and the parts used. There are excellent recones, there are abysmal recones and everything in between.

just note that mechanically, at low frequencies, these drivers are food for not much more that 200-250 watts RMS (each), so if you are using a larger amp you may be exceeding their limits.

I have reconed maybe a hundred of these drivers, primarily with factory parts, and the reliability was exactly the same as the original factory drivers. I stand behind my comments as factually accurate.
