My basement gets relatively cold in the winter so I have to heat it with a separate heater down there. What is a good tempature to keep for a bass? At what point does it become unsafe? Thanks!

Good question! I was wondering the same thing. We practice out in the garage. Roll up door not sealed, not heated it is insulated on all sides except for the garage door.

Temperature isn't as important as humidity, and most of all is just getting your bass acclimated then keeping that climate steady.

My rule is personal comfort. If it feels dry, it is. If it feels humid, it is. If I am comfortable in the room, it's safe for my Bass. If I am not comfortable in the room, fix the problem or move the Bass.
