One of my favorite feelings is finding a new band and falling in love, and going back listening to their discography.

The band Goose is a band I found about a month ago, unfortunatly the day after they were in my town. While on vacation last week, I spent a ton of time listening to their music. I am generally not a big jam band guy, but this group really scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Even my wife likes it, which is rare when we both love a particular band enough to listen to it over and over.

Their bassist is extremely talented and his tone is killer! I'm honestly surprised they are not talked about more on here. Anyone else heard of this band and digging them? Here are a few recordings:

Seeing them for the first time next month in Detroit! I found them probably about a year ago, but have never really listened to their albums all that much. Back then before they started getting a bit more well known they were streaming a lot of shows on Nugs.net and were putting a lot of full shows on YouTube, so i’d watch their live sets.
Trevor is great! He seems to find a really good balance of not overplaying too much like many “jam band” bassist can do, but keeping his lines interesting and varying.

Saw them this past Friday in Bonner, MT. I’ve had them on my list for a bit now and was not disappointed. Really liked the overall sound balance and bass tone. Danced a lot.
