I'm not an angry person. I have a lot of faults, but anger is not one of them. I simply don't understand rage of any kind including road rage. Sure, I get frustrated, and might give a honk if someone is being unsafe, but I simply don't understand the concept of road rage. I don't pursue, yell, threaten, etc. Better to let it go. I understand that a 2 ton vehicle is a weapon with thousands of joules of kinetic energy and can (and does) easily kill people.
That said, if you think I've slighted you and decide to follow me and pull over, ESPECIALLy with large knives, you're going to see a cell phone in one hand and a handgun in the other. You either get back in your car and drive away or wait for the cops to show up. I have no interest in shooting somebody or holding someone at gunpoint for police. But I also have no interest in being one of those guys who gets followed for 40 minutes to have the follower pull them out of their car and beat, shoot, or stab them because of some perceived slight.
YMMV where local laws are different, but I know what they are where I am.
