I do take his point about "volume being limited" in a 700/1001RBII if you don't use the boost function.
It doesn't have to be -ick-dirty- to tap into huge volume, IMO, especially if you're using the biamp feature.

I still think if he likes the combo, an MB500/800 thru the Neo410 is going to be that flavor, with much more horsepower.
 
The MB800 would be the best bet, on that I agree.

The OP needs to learn the difference between live and recorded music though? This can be a hard sound to achieve and will not work well in a live mix or out front where the important ears to please are IMHO. :)

possibly. easy enough to eq the dub out on stage with the MB800, if it's not what you're after. some folks dig that, and that's all well and good.
