GOT MY BONGO!

Looks great! :D I do wonder how the old SVT would handle 18 volts on the front end, though... ;)

Guess I'll find out. ;)

I played the 5 string version of that bass yesterday at the local Duluth GC. Made me want another one in fretted. :D

And, FWIW, I was annoying the GC staff/customer base with the Bongo through an SVT 4, or something to that effect. Sounded great. :bassist:

I finally got the chance to play on a Bongo 5 string at Guitar Center yesterday. Man those things sound bloody incredible. It could have been the brand new strings, but who knows. I was very impressed. I never really liked stingrays, so I didnt expect to like the bongo, but it was damn sweet. My only problem is that the pickup placement makes slap style playing very difficult.

Grattis Söderberg!

For the moment it´s not possible to find one i Göteborg. So i have to rely in my muscle memory (don´t trust my brain enough :D ). It felt really good the last time i played one. But that was in Florida......

Will look all over the place in Phoenix AZ, when i get there i September. The hunt will start at Guitar center in Scottsdale then of to Bassplace in Tempe. There will be another Bongo owner in Sweden.

Ha det!

Tjeeeena/Hey!

Kul med ännu en svensk på TB!

And back to the more international language!
So you travel back and forth often?

...I hope I´m not the ONLY bongo-owner in Sweden! Or...maybe,,,hehe!
